We arrived in Beijing safe and sound yesterday at noon, Beijing time after a 27 hour trip. The trip was uneventful, if somewhat physically painful. Airline seats were not meant for a 15 hour sit. Libby was amazing. She slept for 10 of the 15 hours on the LA to Guangzhuo leg, then kept herself busy with lots of activities. Here we are in the lobby of the Radisson, BLU hotel in downtown Beijing with our new friend, guide Cindy.
After a swim in the pool, and a lovely dinner in the lobby hotel, Libby crashed in her "roll-away'bed". Sort of reminds you of a laundry basket doesn't it. We LOVE china.
Libby (and mommy and daddy) sends her love to our friends and family back home.
So glad you made it and figured out a way to post on this blog from there too! Yippee!!! LOVE following you on this journey. Hugs to all - April, Robert and Tessa
